GateVia Pay exists because Forex, gaming, crypto, and ecommerce platforms in Pakistan kept hitting the same wall: standard processors won't touch them, and the "alternatives" were someone confirming payments by hand on WhatsApp.
Over 2 years ago, we started processing JazzCash and EasyPaisa transactions for platforms that couldn't get approved anywhere else. What began as manual processing for a handful of merchants turned into something worth building properly: a real API, a sandbox environment, and documented endpoints — the kind of infrastructure high-risk industries usually can't access in Pakistan.
We're upfront about this: GateVia Pay is a boutique operation, not a large registered financial institution. We don't want to oversell what we are. If your compliance requirements need a licensed institution, we're not the right fit, and we'd rather tell you that now than after you've integrated.
What we are is a small, focused team that has spent two years learning exactly how JazzCash and EasyPaisa processing works for industries that get turned away elsewhere — and building a real API around that experience instead of relying on manual work behind the scenes.
Forex brokers, gaming platforms, crypto-facing businesses — these sectors get declined by mainstream processors constantly, often without much explanation. We built GateVia Pay specifically because we understood these businesses and were willing to do the work most processors avoid: proper due diligence, transaction monitoring, and a payment flow that actually holds up at volume.
We work closely with a limited number of active merchants at a time, rather than onboarding as many accounts as possible. That's a deliberate choice — it means when something needs attention, you reach someone who actually knows your integration and your transaction history, not a ticket queue. It also means we're selective about who we onboard, because we can only properly support so many merchants at once.
Every merchant gets their own login access to view and download their transaction history directly — you don't have to take our word for a number, you can pull the record yourself. Our USDT settlement rate is explained openly: we source through a trusted, verified trader rather than buying directly from exchanges in bulk (which carries real fraud risk), and the trader's charge is passed through exactly as it is, with no hidden margin added on our end.
Direct mobile wallet payout is in development and will be added as capacity allows. We'd rather launch a feature properly, with slots we can actually support, than promise something we can't deliver on day one.
